A Princess In Hiking Boots was inspired by Carmela LaVigna Coyle’s book Do Princesses Wear Hiking Boots? 

I discovered the book on my journey of moving across the country from LA to NJ (the book has been with me since, and made the journey back to LA!).  I fell in love with the idea that a Princess-type (read non-outdoorsy) could still put on hiking boots and explore the world, just as I’ve done.

Welcome to our travel blog.  Can’t wait to have you join our adventures!
​My blog was first created for my once in a lifetime trip to Africa, and you can relive that experience with me, as well as my trip halfway around the world to Nepal.

I did those trips as a solo Princess, but I’m happy to say that this Princess has found her Prince, and he’s now joining her on her travels near and far.  Hope you’ll join us too!
